How Growee’s System Works

  1. Base Controller
    • Monitors your system’s EC and pH levels through dedicated probes.
    • Let’s you set target EC and pH ranges in the Growee app.
  2. Nutrient Pump Modules
    • Each module has two dosing pumps for two different nutrients.
    • For six nutrients, simply connect three modules to the main controller.
    • If you buy a combo unit, it usually comes with both the controller and nutrient pumps ready to install.
  3. Scheduling & Automation
    • The controller checks EC continuously.
    • If EC drops below the setpoint, it activates the dosing pumps until your reservoir reaches the optimal nutrient level.
    • Simultaneously, the system keeps pH in check by adding pH Up or pH Down.

Setting Up Growee Nutrient Dosing for Your RDWC System

  1. Purchase a Growee Combo System: with 2, 4, or 6 dosing pumps, depending on how many nutrients you want to automate. Each Growee combo system includes pH monitoring and management for both pH Up and pH Down at the same time.
  2. Install the Base Controller: Connect the EC and pH probes to the Base Controller. Monitor and manage everything using the Growee app which you can download to your smartphone from the either the Apple (Apple App Store) or the Android (Google Play Store) application store(s).
  3. Attach Dosing Pump Modules: Each pump module you have draws from 2 separate nutrient containers and dispenses into your RDWC system with included delivery hoses. A separate pump is also included for dosing the pH Up and pH Down solutions.
  4. Enter Nutrient Dosage & pH Settings Once you get started using the Growee system you will be amazed it is to automatically apply and maintain your required nutrient levels without exceeding your TDS as well as maintaining your pH at all times. You will be even more amazed at how much time this frees up for you while giving you the confidence that you are giving your plants the best growing conditions all the time.
  5. Monitor via App: Track EC, pH, and temperature in real time, plus review historical data for insights regarding patterns etc.
